MB Servicing Loan Transfer Specialist III

Job Description

As a Loan Transfer Research analyst, you will be responsible for researching, organizing and investigating the daily correspondence received from various internal partners, and various seller/servicer transactions within Loan Transfers. You will handle resolving complex issues, exception items, and ensuring all requests are handled and responded to daily. You will serve as the liaison in-between loan transfers and seller/servicers to research pending requesting on transferred to and from Chase. You will be responsible for establishing relationships with Default, Customer Care, and Payment Processing etc to communicate effectively within these various departments to resolve issues.
Key emphasis shall be placed on strong research skills, ability to organize and prioritize workload, and excellent decision making skills are crucial.
  • Research and respond to daily email and Customer Care Workbench requests
  • Responding to escalated e-mails, quality control, auditing, and special projects
  • Perform system and process/procedural testing as needed
  • Work with management and additional loan transfers teams to establish communication and contacts to better assist research issues.
  • 1 to 3 years mortgage/or related servicing experience required
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
  • MSP and CCW systems experience is required
  • Passport, COLD (On-Demand) and VLS system experience preferred
  • Understanding of escrow, and corporate advances preferred
  • Strong analytical/problem solving experience, with the ability to successfully resolve complex problems and issues.
  • Detail-oriented and hands-on self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and have strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external partners
