Dealer Relationship Manager - Subaru Motor Finance - Auto Finance - Dallas Market (TX, OK, LA, MS & AR)

Job Description

As a Dealer Relationship Manager, you will motivate new and existing auto dealers to use Subaru Motors Finance (SMF) for indirect retail/leasing financing.  In this role you will perform the following functions:
  • Manage a territory of 38 Subaru dealers in the Dallas zone (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas)
  • Sign dealers to program in the local market
  • Interface directly with all dealer personnel
  • Train dealers on contracts/worksheets
  • Inform dealers of policy, procedures and price changes
  • Develop pricing/program recommendations for territory
  • Act as liaison between dealers and Dealer Service Center where credit decisions are made
  • Act as liaison between the manufacturer’s regional office and SMF to promote both SMF and Subaru of America programs and initiatives
  • Monitor ongoing dealer performance such as efficiency ratios, delinquency, losses, profitability, etc.
  • Increase and maintain required market share levels
  • Attain volume plan at acceptable business levels
  • Knowledge of indirect auto finance industry strongly desired
  • Excellent sales presentation skills to motivate new clients to  use services and product
  • One year Consumer credit experience preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of indirect finance products (retail/lease) strongly desired
  • One year financial statements analysis experience preferred
  • PC skills (Lotus, Excel, Microsoft Word) desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain client relationships
  • Travel within assigned territory will be required
