Commercial Banking-Business Process Mgmt Sr Analyst

Job Description

The Business Process Mgmt Sr Analyst supports the business with key initiatives with a focus on the partnership of Commercial Term Lending (CTL) functional groups. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter, with the ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast paced environment. The role offers a high level of visibility into Commercial Term Lending business strategy.   
Key responsibilities include:
  • Perform strategic analysis that will drive management decision making and coordination across the firm
  • Synthesize information and prepare presentation materials to be shared with senior management, functional groups and other relevant stakeholders
  • Perform extensive research on addressable process improvement opportunities using knowledge of the commercial real estate business and CTL process, procedures and guidelines
  • Partner with subject matter experts to drive and execute small-level projects and communicate change
  • Identify areas for continued process improvement and enhance efficiencies by generating and executing on innovative ideas and solutions
  • Assist with the development, implementation and execution of key monthly reporting to be leveraged by senior managers within the Commercial Bank and across the firm
  • Track and clearly communicate the status of all work in progress
 Ideal Candidate:
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, including expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient with Share Point
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability: able to think-through and outline work processes in a thoughtful and detailed manner
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data to develop and communicate strategic recommendations
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize issues and multi-task effectively to handle multiple assignments
  • Able to be proactive in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure
  • Able to quickly and effectively respond to rapidly changing business needs and urgent requests
  • Team player capable of working collaboratively and developing strong partnerships
  • Proactively seeks guidance, clarification, and feedback from others
  • Above all, willingness to learn driven by natural intellectual curiosity with a genuine interest in knowledge gathering, problem solving and business improvement
  • Up to 3 years of work experience
  • Knowledge of Commercial Term Lending or Commercial Real Estate is required
  • Business management and/or project management experience
  • Familiarity with internal CTL and CB systems (e.g. CeLT, Strategy, CREAM, Client Central)
  • BA/BS degree is preferred
