Quality Analyst Sr. - Auto Finance - Phoenix, AZ / Tampa, FL / Ft. Worth, TX / Wheaton, IL

Job Description

As a Quality Control Specialist with Chase Auto Finance (CAF), you will work as a pivotal member of the Inspection & Repair group/team.  You will assist in the management of activities to ensure our compliance with regulations and corporate policies/procedures.  

 

Job Functions include:

  • Perform evaluations of various functions within underwriting of all products serviced to ensure adherence to policy, procedures and control requirements as prescribed by the business and regulatory bodies.
  • Perform targeted reviews of various CAF processes to ensure adherence to policy, procedures and control requirements as prescribed by the business and regulatory bodies.
  • Complete special projects as assigned including but not limited to, developing new quality reviews to assess process wellness, completing "ad hoc" reviews of select processes, process mapping, analyzing processes for challenges and process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide feedback, reminders, recommendations and necessary coaching to business partners by creating high quality documents and delivering oral presentations.
  • Participate in regular calibration and update meetings with regard to Quality Assurance, and other business partner processes, initiatives and questions.
  • Develop testing process, write procedures, report results.
  • Interface with senior staff member in coaching and developing partnerships to drive improvement
  • Risk Control Testing
  • Development of database and reporting
 
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant credit/underwriting experience
  • Requires a comprehensive knowledge of indirect loan and lease programs, as well as a broad knowledge of bank products and services
  • Proven understanding of consumer credit and applicable federal and state regulations relative to consumer lending, with knowledge of auto finance retail and lease processes /controls
  • Requires strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage time independently with exceptional follow through
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with peers and various levels of management
  • Proven analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in drafting documents for presentations 
  • Coaching and leadership skills; able to work in tandem with supervisors in providing coaching to staff
  • Understanding of Risk Control and Self Assessment (RCSA)
  • Auto Finance Originations Knowledge
  • Must be PC literate and have a good working knowledge of common application software
  • Knowledge of CAF systems:  ACAPS, ALS, WEBDESK, ALA , VLS, ICAF
  • Quality Assurance or Project Management experience a plus
  • Professionalism, demonstrated commitment to JPMC values and operating principles
  • Proven track record of taking initiative, having a positive attitude and exceeding expectations
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
