MB Home Equity Processing Team Supervisor - Lewisville, TX

Job Description

As a MB HE Processing Team Supervisor you will manage, coordinate, and direct the daily operation of a team of Home Equity processors.  You will assign work and set workflow priorities, track your unit’s performance and monitor daily business.  You will handle exception items, resolve complex issues, coordinate and oversee departmental projects, document and introduce new procedures to your staff.
The Home Equity Operations centers, currently located in Milwaukee and Phoenix, process Home Equity applications generated by the Retail branches and Consumer Direct sales teams. Operations works to build functional excellence by delivering consistent customer support throughout the loan process combined with a focus on the customer experience and internal business controls.
  • The Operations Team Manager will coordinate and direct the daily operation of a loan processing team by daily, on-the-floor management and inspection.
  • Responsible for the team pipeline and ensuring all closing dates and customer commitment dates are met.
  • Achieve all established production goals for the department in relation to funded volume, file quality, customer satisfaction, and cycle time.
  • Collaborate with your underwriting and sales management peers on business goals, department objectives, and company initiatives.
  • Effectively handle and resolve all escalated customer and processor issues.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings, daily huddles with your team,  and monthly coaching sessions with each employee to review performance.  Maintain all employee records
  • Utilize daily, weekly and monthly production reports to effectively manage team performance.  Ensure all quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Build strong relationships within your work group and with referring partners.
  • Responsible for compliance with Fair Lending practices of JPMorgan Chase.

This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMC's review of your criminal conviction history, credit report,information available through NMLS, and any other information relevant to a determination by JPMC that you demonstrate financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration for this position. Your continued employment in this position would be contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.

In addition, this position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. As such, upon active employment with JPMorgan Chase, you will be required to either register on NMLS or reregister and move your previous registration to JPMorgan Chase's registration rolls. Your continued employment in this position with JPMorgan Chase is contingent upon successful registration immediately after your start date and annual renewal of your registration thereafter. In addition, information obtained during the registration process may impact your employment with the firm.

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous loan processing experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in loan production administration with prior supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of mortgage originations; specifically mortgage operations.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor at all position levels
  • Solid knowledge of Federal and State regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word, Loan Origination Systems a plus, etc.
