Business Process Sr Analyst II

Job Description

  • Supports self-assessments and the risk event process
  • Validates the accuracy of LOB specific process maps, procedures and associated risk and controls through the execution of testing based on latest guidance from Controls Office
  • Create / revise test scripts that test the effectiveness of risk and controls within Card Production
  • Gather data / evidence required for test execution
  • Identifies business risk issues and works within Card Production and the Control team to recommend solutions
  • Prepares standard reports, process updates and documentation for a variety of recipients
  • Validates accuracy of data and assists with report preparation
  • Assist with the identification and presentation of LOB functions where there is lack of consistency that have potential to weaken controls or increase risk
  • Develop and maintain open dialogue with control team
  • Assist in the preparation and education of an audit ready model
  • Possesses and applies specific experiences and knowledge to the completion of assignments
  • Regularly uses independent judgment to accomplish most objectives, with periodic review by manager
  • Acts as a back-up for reporting and change management for the Card Production Center
  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of card production center or related experience required.
  • Efficient, proactive, responsive, team player with a proven ability to establish and maintain strong client and internal partner relationships
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables and deliver quality results on time
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding operational risks and compensating controls
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy and excellent analytical and problem solving skills required
  • Personally exhibits a strong commitment to dependability and reliability with the ability to gain and maintain the confidence of team, partners and clients.
  • Hands on, self starting, disciplined, and detail oriented individual with ability to work independently in a high volume environment that requires a work product that is highly accurate and timely
  • High degree of integrity including ability to successfully manage sensitive or confidential information
  • Intermediate to expert skill with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook experience required
  • Proven ability to exhibit poise, composure and confidence when confronting stressful or high-pressure situations and accountability for actions and behavior
  • Effectively remediates issues by engaging appropriate resources to mitigate risk with a sense of urgency.
