This position will support the Dormant Vendor Program Team, which is a centralized group within Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Third Party Oversight that manages the Third Party Oversight & Governance function for all operations and business areas within CCB.  This group provides consistent support of all third party disengagement and retirement activity in order to ensure compliance to the TPO standards across the CCB organization.  This position is responsible for supporting multiple LOB’s but the majority of support will be for the Mortgage Bank Law area .  This individual will be responsible for regular contact with both Execution Managers and Delivery Managers to continuously move the process forward.  This position will also be responsible for Executive updates and presentations on the status of their portion of the program.
Core responsibilities include:
  • Providing support of the Delivery Manager/Execution Manager during the disengagement phase of the TPO lifecycle
  • Evaluating and assessing retirement options for Third Parties and driving the process thru to completion
  • Reporting results to upper management
  • Prioritizing and reprioritizing projects and workload in a fast paced environment
  • Developing new options when necessary or when current options won’t “fit”
  • Identifying opportunities for business and process improvement
  • Develop subject matter expertise in the Mortgage Bank Law space
  • Evaluating and monitoring assessments and contracts for specifics regarding disengaging firms
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of related work experience in Attorney and Vendor Management
  • Advanced degree in accounting, finance, economics, IT or other business related fields or equivalent experience
  • Supervisory or Management experience preferred
  • Strong PC skills, Expert in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational and research skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding/background of Consumer and Community Banking products or operations preferred
  • Highly motivated, team player, self starter and able to work independently
