Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
Centralized Transaction Operations (CTO), which is aligned under Consumer and Community Banking, provides a wide range of global operational support and services for retail, commercial, treasury, asset wealth management and credit card customers. CTO has approximately 3,500 employees. Under the direction of Group Manager Lew Fischer, CTO is committed to a culture based on 5 Keys to a Great Customer's Experience. An ongoing focus for the organization is continuous improvement - on behalf of the firm, shareholders, and foremost, customers - as achieved through a structured business planning and execution model plus an engaged employee base that contributes improvement ideas.
 
CTO is composed of six core operating functions: Acquisition and Image Services, Service and Resolution, Payment Services, Banker Support, Card Fulfillment, and Global Document Services. Within CTO, these groups are supported by Performance Consulting and Strategy & Planning.

 

As an Operations Team Leader within ATM Operations, you will:

  1. Champion the culture of CTO, including use continuous improvement tools and 5 Keys to a Great Customer's Experience behaviors.
  2. Lead, coordinate, and direct the daily operation of a unit of non-exempt employees and/or support a processing unit in a product area;
  3. Assign work and set workflow priorities, tracking your unit's performance and monitoring daily business.
  4. Provide performance feedback and coaching to your team.
  5. Manage process exception items, resolve complex issues, coordinate and oversee departmental projects, document and introduce new procedures to your staff.
  6. Manage your processes and review and recommend process modifications to increase productivity and make business more efficient.
  • Requires previous leadership experience.
  • Requires process flow oversight experience.
  • Requires four or more years banking experience in a research oriented position with potential customer impact.
  • Requires extensive understanding of bank accounting and ability to perform higher math functions.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and problem solving skills are a must.
  • SAP experience is helpful.
  • Must be able to use department policies and procedures to prioritize resolution of open items. 
  • Must be able to look beyond the obvious to resolve more difficult process exception items.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are a must. 
  • Ability to follow complex methods and procedures in diverse routine and non-routine tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize for oneself and for a team.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.  Some college preferred.
