MB Business Control and Support Analyst

Job Description

  • Monitor and analyze daily control reporting
  • Assess and address compliance & control needs in assigned area of responsibility
  • Be a point of contact for Mortgage Banking staff relating to legal and compliance issues
  • Coaches and develops staff members on all aspects of successful business development, relationship management and issue escalation and resolution
  • Understand and communicate regulatory, policy and procedural requirements
  • Provide clear, concise and accurate written communications
  • Compile weekly and monthly statistics of monitoring results for scorecards and weekly summaries
  • Knowledge of Mortgage Operations & Sales systems: CLOSR, LoanBuilder, ZiPPY, Chase File Manager, Mortgage Express suite of applications
  • 5 years of mortgage operations and/or mortgage sales experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compliance regulations, i.e. TILA, RESPA, FACTA, Reg. B, Reg. Z
  • Proficient in the following applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.  Ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely
  • Strong working knowledge of mortgage documents, processes and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated but know when to ask for guidance
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work with strict deadlines and aggressive deliverables
  • Develop alternate solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work efforts
  • Ability to operate in a collaborative and cooperative environment and must possess strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues t various levels of the organization
  • Independent logical problem solver; analytical ability to synthesize data and project outcomes 
  • Maintains the highest standards of honesty, fairness and ethics.  Will be exposed to confidential information
  • Keeps others informed of key business information, issues and decisions
  • Adapts well to increasing scope and complexity of work brought on business change and growth
  • Relentless focus on execution and enjoys taking ownership for the delivery of measure results
