Vehicle Remarketing-Strategy and Analytics Manager

Job Description

The Strategy and Analytics Manager will play a vital role in the conception and implementation of strategic initiatives within Vehicle Remarketing.  This individual will be responsible to manage the reporting, billing, and maintenance of the Dealer Purchase Incentive (DPI) program.  Also, they will be called upon to provide both reoccurring and ad-hoc reporting to the DRM field staff, senior leaders, internal partners, and our manufacturer clients.  The Strategy and Analytics Manager will collect and execute upon dealer and field staff feedback on how to improve and enhance program participation and reporting effectiveness.  This individual will partner with the Dealer Programs Managers to help prepare for field visits and to communicate weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance results.  Additionally, the Strategy and Analytics Manager will be responsible for the creation of executive level Power Point presentations that allow Vehicle Remarketing to report out status updates, deliver results to clients, and build business cases for future strategic initiatives. 


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for data collection and converting that data into actionable recommendations and presentations for executive management level audience.
  • Partner with internal data teams to create ad-hoc reporting for lease end vehicle sales information
  • Work with Manheim and Adesa auctions to analyze sales trends and how they impact our MMR-based pricing strategy.
  •  Act as a liaison between VR, Manufacturer Clients, and dealers with the ability to provide reporting to each in a way it can be utilized most effectively.
  •  Act as an SME for Vehicle Remarketing in the project management of new strategic initiatives
  • Build an understanding of clients differing needs in order to tailor responses to the target audience.
  • Maintain and enhance the ongoing reporting and billing associated with the DPI program.
  • Partner with critical vendors such as Adesa‚Äôs OpenLane to manage dealer upstream purchase results and be involved with IT changes that impact the overall site layout.
  • Manage and improve both ongoing and finite tactical programs
  • Perform Quality Control functions in proactively testing the overall Vehicle Remarketing process to identify gaps or breaks

Required:

  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel reporting experience with the ability to easily produce pivot table and v-look up functions
  • Ability to create well organized power point presentations for client and executive management meetings
  • Confidence to work directly with managers and clients at all levels to ensure their service needs are met, and to partner with them to agree upon priorities and deadlines.
