About the Team

The Global Clearing Product Management Team is responsible for product strategy, development and commercialization of the high-value payments services that J.P. Morgan delivers to Financial Institution and Non-Bank Financial Institution clients globally.  These services are available in U.S. Dollar, Euro, Sterling, Renminbi and select other world currencies.  Given the geographic footprint of the high value payment businesses and client base, the team is deployed globally across the WHEM, EMEA and APAC regions.

 

About the Position

The Product Manager for Global Clearing will be responsible for product strategy, development and commercialization of the high-value payments services that J.P. Morgan delivers to Financial Institution and Non-Bank Financial Institution clients globally in Euro and GBP globally and USD for the region.  In addition, the Manager will have P&L responsibility for the Euro and GBP products globally, assure proper solution sets are built across all segments, keep up to date with all market and regulatory items impacting the products, and assure day to day programs and service are managed.

 

The role includes extensive collaboration with Sales, Operations, Technology, Risk/Compliance and Legal.  

  • Define EUR and GBP payments product strategy to achieve enhanced capabilities, reduce risk, increase operational efficiency, and drive increased revenue. 
  • Full P&L Ownership including delivery of revenue goals, achievement of expense targets, management of cost allocations and introduction of product-specific initiatives to measure/improve Euro and GBP product profitability.
  • Business Management & Promotion including end-to-end understanding of how the Global Clearing products work, how they are used by clients and how they interact with other Core Cash Management Services, a deep understanding of the external market, development of strong internal partnerships and external visibility with clients and the industry.
  • Assess current client portfolio and identify opportunities to tweak existing business flows to grow JPM wallet share from existing client base. 
  • Anticipate internal and external factors impacting the EURO and GBP business and implementing plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Manage all risk and regulatory items related to the EURO and GBP end to end
  • Contribute significant thought leadership to our clients, the market and the Global Clearing team.
  • You will be able to demonstrate your proven product management and development experience within a Wholesale, Investment or Commercial bank, preferably in cash management
  • You will be able to demonstrate that you are a strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive tactical execution.
  • You will be able to give examples of presentation and influencing skills both with clients and internal partnerships
  • Extensive treasury management banking experience and product management payments experience a plus
  • Solid track record of success in developing and implementing large-scale initiatives
  • Experience with and/or prior collaboration with Sales, Operations and Technology
  • Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
  • Superior presentation and communication skills – can sell self and ideas
  • Ability to proactively distribute thought expertise
  • Desire to win
  • Requires travel (15%), primarily EMEA.
  • Bachelors degree, MBA preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
