The Asset Management Infrastructure Application Services technology team is responsible for the infrastructure on which the business operates, including management and oversight of data centers, servers, desktops, networks, voice, contingency sites, etc. The group is also responsible for development and support of all application suites and discrete systems required for automation or to support management decision-making and data processing, including investment engines, pricing databases, client reporting, information Web sites, business profitability analysis, etc.
The Global AMIAS Program Management Office (PMO) is comprised of:
•One Executive Director providing PMO Leadership Globally
•Global Head of Project Management
•Global Program Managers Driving Global Corporate Programs focused on:
◦Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSA)/Controls
•Global Head of Program Management Office Governance
•A Group of talented Program and Project Managers who lead efforts globally.
The opportunity is to join the program management team working on a one of the top 5 priority programs for the firm.
•Leads technical programs and projects from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, analysis, design development and implementation.
•Drive corporate initiatives focused on reducing risk, improving efficiency, documenting operational processes and mass rollouts of new technologies
•A project is defined as a unique endeavor with a defined end result that requires project management skills to deliver successfully.
•Program Managers will oversee and report on a portfolio of projects while often simultaneously managing some projects within their portfolio
•Establish project/program requirements, priorities, and deadlines.
•Ensure project/program is completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant firm-wide guidelines.
•Coordinate resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects/programs.
•Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members.
•Manages budget for assigned project(s), monitors project progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly.
Proficient in the following:
•Project Task Estimation
•Adherence to Standard Project Lifecycle
•Budget / Financial Management including Business Case completion
•Evaluation of impact to Total Cost of Ownership for multiple simultaneous, complex projects
•Advanced communication skills; both verbal and written
•Organizational Savvy & Know-how
•Ability to think big picture; view issues and situations with a broad perspective
•Advanced knowledge of Project Management and Business Analysis
•Advanced knowledge of Project Management and Business Analysis tools including Presentation, Word Processing, Spreadsheet & Planning Tools (exp. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project & Visio)
•Excellent time management skills
•Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
•Executive Level Communication (written and verbal)
•Experience working on risk or control projects
•Advanced PMO Certification; a Plus
•Advanced Level Education within the Technology, Business &/or Management disciplines
