Control Reporting Analyst II - Auto Finance

Job Description

 
QC Data Analyst/SharePoint Admin Librarian pull the data used for creating the samples of loans the QC Team uses to complete auditing in the areas of compliance, risk, policy, procedure, due diligence, and documentation.  Reports are pulled to query or flag for pre-determined issues.  The reports are created using advanced business intelligence reporting tools and applications.  Data mining analysis and testing is done on each report to ensure the pull is accurate. 
 
The Data Analysts then transfers the reports into samples, apply filtering & conditions, and equations, then distributes to the assigned QC team member to perform the audit.  Create advanced equations and macros for Excel regional templates. Once the audits are complete, the results are loaded into SharePoint dashboards, double checked by the analysts for accuracy and then reported out to the LOB.  Each report will show the accuracy rates within a given test and display trending for previous months.  Manage Sharepoint design and monitor usage and storage.
 
Other Analyst/Librarian responsibilities include:
 
  • Running reports and managing all testing to the QC required schedule and deadlines.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine emerging trends and investigate data gaps through reporting.
  • Work with manager in determining sample sizes.
  • Creation of new reporting needs from WRM’s, RCSA Action Plans, policy changes, new regulation, emerging trends or requests from the business as needed.
  • Additional system and administration responsibilities:
    • Creation of charts, graphs, and graphics in MS Office suite, including PowerPoint JPM PitchPRO tool to display our results in a clear and concise manner to the LOB. Additional usage of Word/Excel advanced tools.
    • Attention to detail with focus on executive quality presentation decks in JPM approved standards and layouts.
    • Perform RSAM multi ad-hoc user access and data syncs of server passwords and access levels.
    • Approve/deny manager delegate approvals in RSAM manager access.
    • Write, troubleshoot, and perform validation tests of SQL codes and queries for reporting, and utilize the InfoOne Data Dictionary. Monitor ADW batch runs and server dashboards for availability or reporting.
    • Perform MS Lync screen shares to troubleshoot and collaborate with team on issues with desktop, access, and advanced report issues.
  • Update MS Outlook distribution lists in MyTecHub and update Outlook mailbox auto notification.
  • Create and apply random testing equations and data selection for monthly random audits.
  • Update QC server access reporting on inventory guide.
  • Assist in the coordination of all data management, analysis, metrics, and presentation development.
  • Generate and publish weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports.
  • Assist with the development, tracking, and reporting of key operational metrics.
  • Identification of potential risks and control breaks in operation processes and development of metrics for reporting.
  • Change Management: Adaptability to learn new tasks and demonstrate a willingness to understand the detail of a process.
