The Sales Enablement Group (SEG) is part of the Investor Services (IS) Sales organisation, reporting to the IS Sales Executive. The group contributes to the IS sales result by the creation and production of sales collateral (proposals & presentations) and the design of sales collateral. In doing so, the group works in close partnership with subject matter experts from areas including sales, relationship management, client service, segment, product management, operations and pricing. The group is 43 people organised functionally across four teams - Proposals, Presentations, Design, & Knowledge Management; and geographically across five countries - United States, United Kingdom, India, Philippines, & Hong Kong. The group’s core objective is to help the firm win business by building the best sales collateral, in the shortest amount of time, with the smallest time involved from Sales, Product and other subject matter experts.
 
This team is a pioneer when it comes to the model we follow. Unlike other businesses, we do not follow the sub-support offshoring model where the lower end of the work is off-shored. The content of all members of this team is no different from the work done by any of his onshore team member. General level of Responsibility/ Decision Making
 
As a member of the knowledge management team within this team, you will be a part of the global support effort for sales and relationship management.
The team continues to evolve the materials being utilised by the broader team and achieves this by working closely with subject matter experts, proposal and presentation writers, and marketing and sales teams.
Serve as an internal team subject matter expert in the research and content improvement for Investor Services Sales globally, fielding general inquiries from throughout the organization.  The analyst is accountable for providing proposal and presentation writers with materials that:
§  are concise
§  are written with a consistent and global 'voice' (region/country/segment variations as appropriate)
§  are consistent and related sales positioning and supportive messaging
§  are current, complete and accurate representation of our capabilities
§  include current, accurate data and statistics
 

Typical Job Duties

 
§  Working with finance and global product heads to manage strategic content and statistics, the building blocks of proposals, presentations, and other associated client-facing documentation.
§  Working with product and sales head to perform quality control functions, organizing, formatting and assembling documents
§  Work with marketing and graphic design lead to ensure that content is presented creatively, utilizing graphics and photos to enhance and support text.
§  Work with corporate communications and marketing to ensure that documents conform to J.P. Morgan’s branding and corporate design standards

Experience/ Background/ Key Competencies

 
§  Bachelor's Degree, MBA or a post graduate in business or finance.
§  Demonstrated at least 6-8 years of experience, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Coursework in business and /or finance preferred.
§  Strong business communication skills, both verbal and written.
§  Excellent desktop publishing skills, including a strong/advanced working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio and other MS-Office applications.  Other desktop publishing and graphics applications may also be relevant.
§  Solid organization and project management skills
§  Ability to deal tactfully and professionally with a wide range of colleagues, including senior executives, in demanding situations.
§  Proven ability to deliver results in a timely manner
§  Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
§  Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
§  Proactive, positive approach. Ability to grasp/learn concepts quickly.
