Operate Analyst (Associate)

Job Description

The Legal, Compliance and Securities organization supports regulatory and compliance requirements of the Corporate Compliance line of business with applications that monitor and report on suspected anti-money laundering activities along with screening activities of individuals and companies.  Also supported are applications that manage litigation and other legal activities including the management of spent with external law firms.
 
The CT application portfolio is experiencing significant growth as existing applications are being expanded to include global capabilities. The Global Systems Technology group is a part of the CT&R portfolio, providing technology solutions to help Legal and Compliance group conduct their business efficiently.
 
The Application Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring Corporate Compliance Systems Application availability. This position will also have input on Service Design, Service Transition, Service Strategy, and Continual Service Improvement across the application portfolio. This position supports applications on various technologies with multiple tiers. Expertise in Windows, UNIX, Linux, Monitoring, Web, Storage, DB, SQL, etc; are required. Strong expertise in one or more of these areas as well as experience supporting applications is required.
 
In this role, you will be responsible to provide:
  • Incident Management
  • Problem Management
  • Event Management
  • Risk Management
  • Change Management
  • Release and Deployment Management
  • Knowledge Management
  • Interface with GSO L1 support & ensure tickets & tasks are handled appropriately& timely
  • Own incident resolution for CCT
  • Support root cause analyze for CCT
  • Provide infrastructure and application support for:
  • Windows, Linux & Unix servers
  • Oracle, SQL Server, & other databases
  • Web Services
  • Application level monitoring
  • Utilize monitoring tools such as:
  • VCOPs
  • Tivoli
  • Topaz
  • CA Wily among others
 

 


Qualifications:

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure support
  • 2+ years of experience in IT operations, application support
  • 3+ years of experience in formal incident and problem management
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes

Highly Desired:

  • Experience in Web administration
  • Experience in Power Shell, Unix, SQL, or Java scripting
  • Experience with configuring monitoring tools (Tivoli, VCOPs, CA Wily, etc)
