Job Description

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for oversight/management of project and program activities within a single or across multiple risk management channels i.e. conceptual approaches, financial cost analysis/business case development, planning, design and implementation while ensuring sound strategic direction and execution.
Overall Responsibilities
  • Responsible for oversight/management of all project and program activities of the channel
  • Lead large complex projects/program for the specified channel
  • Conduct deep dive and feasibility study,  where necessary, of channel projects along with IT and Vendor  (if necessary) to ensure viable approach
  • Direct and manage channel activities for multiple work streams, track progress and metrics, and seek resolution of risks, issues and/or obstacles.
  • Assists senior leadership with defining business strategy and in creating a delivery path for strategic components delivered via project execution
  • Ability to make informed decisions and provide strategic direction on behalf of the channel
  • Utilizes direct and indirect influencing skills to drive progress, track/monitor/report detailed project activity
  • Delivers business value through controlled, predictable, mature project processes
  • Reviewing root cause analysis and implementing best practices.
  • Document conceptual approach, develop comprehensive business case and prepare executive conceptual approach presentation materials for monthly governance
  • Communicates with senior management and resolves conflict through broad decision making
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving and creative thinking
  • Provide issue management, remediation and resolution
  • 10+ years project and/or program management experience
  • Solid proven track record in leading complex large scale technology project and/or program management
  • Demonstrated success implementing complex technology projects, including the development and maintenance of the project plan and execution approach
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced yet ambiguous environment and adaptable to change
  • Poised under high pressure situations and ability to lead through potential crisis
  • Strong relationship building, leadership and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to gain the cooperation across organizational boundaries and the ability to work through challenges to find appropriate solutions to key issues
  • Strong project management skills leveraging industry standard development methodologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with executive and senior business stakeholders
